Academic Profile and Achievements
Imtiaz Hussain Received his B.Eng in Electronic Engineering and posgraduate diploma in Telecommunication and Control in 2004 and 2006 respectively from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology Jamshoro, Pakistan. He is currently a PhD student at School of Computing science and Engineering University of Salford, United Kingdom.
During the year 2005 he worked as an instrumentation engineer at Thatta Cement factory and Al-Abbas Distillation plant. He joined Electronic engineering department at Mehran University as a lab-lecturer in 2005 and currently employed as a lecturer. His current research interests include advanced control and identification and intelligent control systems mainly applied in automotive applications.
He has published several research papers in international journals and conferences and was the recipient of the UK's second best young researcher in 2012. The award was given by the Railway Division of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE UK).
